Floodgates of memories have opened up for me. Still not able to reconcile to the fact that Goutam is not around us anymore. Spoke to Vidita this morning and was short of words. Really did not know what to say.
From almost the beginning of my advertising career it has been a long memorable 35+ years association with Goutam. I guess we all learnt something or the other from him. For me Goutam greatly augmented to my Marketing and Advertising knowledge. As we all know Goutam was not just a genius but had a heart of gold. With a heavy heart, moist eyes and umpteen fond memories during my long Avenues’ innings, Goutam, I will really miss you.

Goutam my mentor, guru and most importantly a father figure to me is no more. My heart is heavy and eyes are moist. Umpteen memories are flooding my mind with some special moments we shared in the last 35 years. May his soul rest in peace.
Will surely look for him up there when my time is up. 🥂
