Uncle was a great man and he will be missed dearly. Over the last 25 years I have cherished every interaction I have had with him. Most memorable are of him always warmly welcoming me to sit with him in the Jeevan Asha balcony and talking to me in the same patient demeanor irrespective of if I was a teenager, an undergraduate, working professional or eventually a parent. In each of these conversations he left me more inspired, smarter and made me a better person and parent. He was able to impart wisdom very subtly, without preaching, and had a remarkable gentle demeanor. One just had to spend few minutes with his grandchildren and him together to see how much joy he brought in their lives. Most of all we will miss his smile, warmth and laughter. I will always cherish the memories we had with him.
